Stafford Planning and Zoning Commission
The Planning and Zoning Commission reviews all submitted plats, site plans, and zoning cases for ordinance compliance and communicates all technical requirements of the City’s ordinances to developers and residents. Staff is happy to answer questions regarding development process within the corporate limits of Stafford or its Extraterritorial Jurisdiction (ETJ).
The Planning and Zoning Commission team is responsible for ensuring that development and redevelopment comply with all applicable City Master Plans. Please contact the Publics Works Department for more information.
Stafford’s Planning and Zoning Commission meets at 7:30 p.m. on the Tuesday preceding the second Wednesday of the month.
All meetings are also televised “Live” from City Council Chambers and broadcast on S-METV, Channel 16 on Comcast Cable. Meetings are also rebroadcast daily for at least a week.
The agendas for Planning and Zoning Commission meetings are posted on this web site and on the bulletin board at the entrance to City Hall at 2610 S. Main Street by 5 p.m. on the Friday preceding a Tuesday meeting.
