Stafford Police Department
Bordering Houston, the City of Stafford has become a haven for businesses and people wishing to relocate to a smaller town. Its 7 square miles contain 10 residential subdivisions and a large industrial/business district. Although the residential population of approximately 16,500 has more than doubled since 1980, the business population by far outweighs it. An estimated 60,000 people live in, work, and visit the City of Stafford each day. The Stafford Police Department, with its 44 sworn officers, has kept pace with the growing city and maintains an average 4-minute response time. By providing valuable information on the City of Stafford's web site, we hope to increase our accessibility and service to the public.
