Alarm Permit Information
With your help and cooperation, the alarm ordinance is reducing the number of false alarms to which police and fire personnel respond.
Click here for the Burglary/Fire Alarm System Registration and Annual Renewal Application. Permits expire December 31 of each year. This document requires the FREE Adobe Reader to open and utilize. Simply tab through the form to fill in the information, print, and return it with your renewal fee. Alarm fees are as follows:

Registration of Alarm System $25.00
Renewal of Alarm Permit (if renewed by Jan. 31) $15.00
Renewal after Jan. 31 $25.00
POLICE DEPARTMENT FALSE ALARM FEES
3 FREE False Alarms Calls per Calendar Year
4th thru 7th False Alarm Call $ 50.00 each
8th and Up $100.00 each
FIRE DEPARTMENT FALSE ALARM FEES
3 FREE False Alarms per Calendar Year
4th thru 7th False Alarm Call $175.00 each
8th and Up $250.00 each
Owners of non-registered alarms, upon conviction, shall be fined an amount not to exceed $500.
