US 90A TRAFFIC NOTICES:

The anticipated major traffic shifts scheduled over the next 30-45 days are listed below:

Thursday, May 8th – Northbound traffic on FM 1092 will be shifted onto the new northbound frontage road. This traffic configuration separates the northbound and southbound traffic placing it at the exterior edges of the future underpass. Temporary crossovers will be installed at the north and south ends of FM 1092 to facilitate U-turns.

First of June – Contractor will complete the last section of Stafford Road across westbound US 90A and shift traffic onto the new northbound frontage road from Staffordshire to Stafford Road.

5th STREET TRAFFIC NOTICE:

Starting on Wednesday June 18, 2008, 5th Street will be reduced down to one lane from FM 2234 (Texas Parkway) to Staffordshire Road. The traffic flow will be southwest from FM 2234 towards Staffordshire Road. Fort Bend County realizes that this change in traffic flow is an inconvenience to the traveling public and will do everything possible to expedite its work so that two-way traffic can be restored as quickly as possible.
